Prominent Southlake lawyer Ron Eddins and 2 other young people died in a tragic car crash last Wednesday. Police say Eddins' black Porsche Panamera flew off the road and plunged into an Irving canal; speed was a factor in the crash. Eddins is a nation wide injury lawyer.
Here's Eddins' 11,510 sq. foot Mediterranean estate located at 3000 Burney Lane. The home, completed in 2010, has a pool, 6 car garage, and access to Grapevine Lake. After completed in 2010, the home was appraised just over $2.1 million.
Thanks for reading,
You didn't metion that his wife filed for divorce from him last week, and that he was leaving a strip club after drinking in Southlake until after midnight. Is this what makes someone prominent? Or, is it the size of their house? Sheesh...
ReplyDeleteThis man and two others are dead, let them rest in peace. May GOD have you in his glory.
ReplyDeleteRon Eddins.. The Drunk ambulance chaser....
ReplyDeleteNice. You do know what his specialty was, right? Mesothelioma, cancer patients. I'm not sure I'd call that ambulance chasing.
DeleteLong live the SPIRIT of Ron Eddins! I worked with him at a prior lawfirm in Dallas! His soul was SOLID! I pray to God for those in his life who "genuinely" treasured him! RIP, Ron :(((
ReplyDeleteDDO
He takes two young people with him to a watery grave after a weeknight debauch at a jiggle joint. What a legacy.
ReplyDeleteHis obituary said a "loving father and devoted husband" I get the father comment.... The divorce papers stated adultry on his part. Sad. You would think the 20 year olds would be driving the 40 year olds around like that.
ReplyDeleteI described him as "prominent" due to his successful, national law practice.
ReplyDeleteTwo children lost their dad. A little respect at least for the children.
ReplyDeleteRespect for the children,, indeed.
ReplyDeleteI was unaware that details of the divorce were even of public record yet. Anon, I would hate to think that you know the Eddins family in some way. Maybe you just like to hang around court documents? Either way, you need to find yourself a hobby. Shame on you for taking such joy in hurting people who have already been through so much.
ReplyDeletePrayers for all of those involved.
It is very sad. Three people are dead. Two children are without a father.. Where is the basic human sympathy? Everyone is so willing to throw dirt at the deceased. Remember that you are not perfect either.
ReplyDeleteIt is a sad commentary on some folks when they choose to not look for the good in people as well as not take into account the fact that there are others who truly cared and loved those who they will now never see again. Indeed, it was a tragic end for all those involved . But, can we not live and learn? Perhaps we should not be so quick to chastise those who are gone but cherish every moment we are with those that WE care for. It is good to see comments of the more previous people that do exhibit a sense of feeling for others . Thank you and may the families of the ones lost remember the good in the ones that are gone.
ReplyDeleteNotify the publishers of the Oxford English Dictionary that tragic is now redefined to mean "driving under the influence, at speeds in excess of the limit and the drivers ability in a vehicle that should require a course in high performance driving before someone can purchase it."
ReplyDeleteTragic. Wonder what that house will list for and what kind of access it has to the lake. I must say I am quite interested...
ReplyDeletei agree with ambulance chaser. nice choice of a niche, dude. filing lawsuits against corporations and institutions including our own military for placing employees in harm's way by having them work around asbestos. of course, nobody knew asbestos caused mesothelioma until much, much later. certainly he deserved to live a hedonistic debauched life by taking a heavy percentage of these cancer patient's settlement money from employers who most likely did not know that they were exposing the employee to harmful carcinogenic asbestos.
ReplyDeletehow is this different from ambulance chaser?
My LAWD, if igorance is bliss, then you're the happiest numbnut in the sack
DeleteI am over 27 years sober and an very grateful for this. I guess my alcoholic successful professional live style in Dallas ended due to the prayers of kind people. I am still alive and in great health. I left my favorite town. It is so sad to hear of this mans death and the death of the two others. I do respect this man for his ability to produce money. If he had not have done these law cases someone else would. Money is a good thing. It is how we spend it. And many of us in the pressures of living in this word get into things we don't know how to get out of. I hope tism ansss family does well and the families and friends of the others that were killed. May God have mercy on each of our sold. I know I could not put down the bottle until I got in A.A.. Then I A. A. I meet up with a friend whoalos followed Kenneth Copeland. Then I started getting my life worked out. I give Kenneth Copeland no praise. God gets the praise. I focus on no man but have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. I even believe in psychological help when it helps. The folks that were killed would surely not have choosen the route they took if they had know about the power in the aooninting and good life in Christ. I did not know that I could be delivered from all my addictions. It is a driving force and a search for something we know is missing. Money cannot buy the peace of God. I am so grateful for be alive and have a joyful life. I want a nice cold Miller sometimes and a Budweiser. The bondage is not worth it. The other night I thought of a shot of whiskey straight on a few cubes of ice. No way. so haow can we judge these folks. Mama always said by the grace of God there go I. I do respect any spouse that makes a choice to get out of a unhealthy relationship. But I am not God and know nothing about any marriage or what is in it. I learned to stay out of that for sure. We need lawyers and I am grateful for them. Signed Mooon Chamberlin.
